Split rent and PG bills without the WhatsApp argument

Shared living in India usually means one person pays rent or the WiFi bill, then chases everyone else in the group chat. Amounts get lost, “I’ll pay later” stacks up, and nobody is sure who still owes what.

NestSplit is built for that mess. Create a flat or PG group, add the people you live with, and log each bill once. Equal split or custom amounts — the running balance stays visible until you settle on UPI.

What you can split in a flat

Use one group for the house so rent, groceries, electricity, cooking gas, and internet sit in the same place. You do not need a new chat for every month.

  • Rent or PG fee paid by one person
  • Grocery runs and household supplies
  • Electricity, water, and WiFi
  • Maid, cook, or society charges

How a fair split works

Add the expense, choose who was involved, and split equally or type custom amounts. NestSplit checks that the shares add up. If someone was away for two weeks, leave them out of that bill instead of arguing later.

Balances update as you go. When it is time to pay, settle outside the app on UPI, then mark the balance settled so the group stays honest.

Invite roommates with a link

Share the group invite link or code. They sign in with Google and request to join. A group admin approves — so a forwarded link does not silently add strangers to your rent group.
